Obour receives ‘Star of Change’ award at the Northern-Ghana Entertainment Awards

President of the Musicians Union of Ghana Mr. Bice Osei-Kuffour who is widely known in the showbiz fraternity as President Obour has been Honored by Celebraties Charity Development Foundation   (CeChaDeF) organisers of the Northern Ghana Entertainment Awards as the 2019 Star of Change award winner.

Present at the short presentation ceremony in Accra over the weekend were Mr. Abdul Latif Alhassan the Board Chairman of NEA Ghana and the Co founder of the awards Miss Teefa Npanko Fusieni.

Speaking to the media after the presentation, Mr Abdul Latif said this was in recognition of Obour’s huge contributiions to the socio economic development of Ghana through his numerous social responsibility projects like the National Road Safety campaign, the One Ghana Peace Project, the Readwide campaign amongst others. He added that Obour has over the last decade used his music and brand to impact positively on the society hence the need to be crowned the NEA Star Of Change.

Miss Teefa Npanko also emphasised on the essence of the award which she believe strongly will encourage other celebrities to use their stardom to help aid in the developmental agenda of the country.

President Obour on his part thanked the organizers for the award and call for more corporate support to help propell the scheme to greater heights.
The NEA2019 is the fourth edition of the most prestigiousNorthern-Ghana Entertainment Award ceremony that consistantly recognize and reward distinguish entertainers across the five regions of the North and beyond.
