Lord Kenya reacts to Shatta Wale & Stonebwoy’s scuffle at VGMA

Ghanaian hiplife artiste turned prophet, Evangelist Lord Kenya has shared his sentiments over the unfortunate incident that happened between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The ‘Sika Baa’ hitmaker described the act as disgraceful and advised the security officers to apply the law and deal with the offenders.

“What happened during the event was very disgraceful. These artists have disgraced the musician union of Ghana.

In terms of performance, this current crop of musicians don’t have craft. Musical beefs have been in existence for a very long time; from Daddy Lumba and Nana Acheampong, VIP and BukBak but we had respect for each other. It is just a lyrical battle but you become a criminal if you attack the person physically.

The highest form of beef is death. These two are gifted guys and if they are not careful at the end of the day, it might result in death. The law must deal with them”, Lord Kenya disclosed.

Lord Kenya originally known as Abraham Philip Akpor Kojo Kainya is one of the greatest musicians Ghana can boast of.

He has many hit songs to his credit such as Sika Baa, Yeesom Sika, Sika Mpo Fane Ho, Sika and several others.

He was also nominated as the Artist of the year at the 2011 Ghana Music Awards and also won the Hiplife Album of the year.

In October 2010, Lord Keny disclosed he has been ‘arrested’ by the Holy Spirit and is now a born-again Christian.
