Ghanaian hip hop artist Lukeman Ekow Baidoo popularly known as
Teephlow has revealed in an interview that he didn’t jubilate about
Strongman’s departure from Sarkcess Music.
According to the ‘Forgive’ hitmaker, he wasn’t happy about Strongman’s departure because it’s very hard to get help these days.
He added that he was very close with Strongman throughout ‘The Next
Big Thing’ show and even had discussions about managerial issues.
“Me and strongman, we have had so many conversations lowkey about all these managerial issues.
The day I see the message e pain me for am because I understand how it feels to be in a label and you have to come out.
Everybody will want to be in a label and continue. It pain me give am
because getting help is really difficult so being in that space I
thought it’s amazing for him”, he stated.
Teephlow also added that he was surprised when the CEO of Sarkcess Music took sides with Strongman to diss him.
According to the award-winning rapper, he wasn’t expecting Sarkodie to take part in a lyrical war between two young rappers.
“So me wey I dey der, wey I dey look up to Sark waa, as Strongman
drop the Charcoal song, that was a straight diss to me, I ignored it. It
was never a problem for me until I started seeing Sark’s tweet about
it.
So I am like ok fine, he is with Sarkcess Music which means he must
support anything he does but Kanye West was not supporting Pusha T
beefing Drake, Rick Ross wasn’t doing the same when Meek Mill had an
issue with Nicki Minaj or Drake. You either stay back or come forward to
try and settle it”, he added.
