To her parents, it sounded like a dream come true because it was a call of God upon Kaakyire’s life and she had to be obedient to the call whiles others too, didn’t understand her as she laboured with a dream of becoming a renowned Gospel musician.
After all, she was only four when her talent was discovered; young and for that matter, considerably naïve about real life issues.
However, less than seven years later, Kaakyire Vida Asante is ruling both airwaves and social media with live worships.
She just got started and with talent bigger than life, the world is now hers for the taking.
Kaakyire Vida Asante’s parents Prophetess Mercy Asante and Rev. Samuel Asante are ministers of the Gospel.
Passionate about her religious faith, Kaakyire reveals that she is a born again Christian and has been saved since childhood.
Speaking to Sampson Annan of GospelEmpireGh the young Gospel sensation said all her song ministrations are geared towards ministering to people, especially the youths. According to Kaakyire, she is trying to urge them to know God.
Currently, Kaakyire studies at Wexford International School located at Abuakwa-Manhyia, off Sunyani Road.
Her favourite Gospel artiste and role model is Cecilia Marfo.
“I like the support I am getting from my parents and RITWorld Media, this has helped in giving me confidence to develop my career,” she said.
